About
Built by someone who builds cars.
Placeholder — Damon’s copy goes here. This page is live so the rest of the site can launch; the story below is a stand-in written from the build card, not final copy. Replace it and redeploy.
Car Showables started with one car and a question that every enthusiast eventually asks: after all the hours, the parts hunted down over years, and the friends made along the way — what do you actually have to show for it?
Photographs sit on a phone. Receipts sit in a drawer. The build itself lives in a garage, and the story lives with whoever happens to be standing next to it at a meet. Car Showables is an attempt to put all three in one place, on a wall, in a form worth keeping.
What goes into a piece
Every commission is drawn by hand. Your car is traced into line art, each modification is labelled by name, and your build stats, your ratings, and your own words go on the panel beside it. Nothing is generated from a template — which is why each piece takes time, and why each one is numbered.
The pieces are made in collaboration with people who know the work: the horn button is produced with RevLimiter, and every print is proofed with you before it goes to the printer.
